42nd Saaremaa Rally 2009

SPECTATORS
The 42 nd Saaremaa Rally special stages are organized on the gravel roads of Central and Western Saaremaa. The access to Special Stages of Saaremaa Rally 2009 is allowed with tickets. Tickets to each Special Stage separately are available at the entrance of each stage or You can buy a two-day Rally-Pass/Wristband either from info counter at Saare Selver, or from spectator entrances at specal stages held in friday. Ticket to one special stage costs 40 eek. Two-day Rally-Pass/Wristband costs 100 eek and gives access to all Special Stages.
Accsess to all spectators under 14 yare of age, are free of charge.

The Rally Booklet, which includes the list of the participants, maps of the special stages, traffic patterns, timetables, and other interesting information, are available at 7 th oktober from ferrys, Saare Selver info counter, gas stations at Saare Kütus “Roonimäe” and “Aia street”

Rally takes place on 09-10 October 2009

STATUS
The Rally is a calendar rally of 2009, round 7 of Estonian Rally Championship for groups A, N and E.
The rally will be organized by Saaremaa Ralli MTÜ.

09 October 2009 in the evening – start Day 1 in Kuressaare
10 October 2009 – Day 2 and prize-giving ceremony

CLASSES OF CARS
Production cars (group N)
            class 2             up to 1600 cc
            class 3             up to 2000 cc
            class 4             over  2000 cc (including S2000)
Touring cars (group A)
            class 7             up to 2000 cc
            class 8             over  2000 cc (including WRC)
National cars (group E)
            class   9           up to 1600 cc
            class 10           over 1600 cc up to 2000 cc
            class 11           over 2000 cc; 2WD turbo
            class 12           4WD
            class 13           trucks
           
ENTRY FEES
The entry fees for the participants are as follows:
* Groups A, N and class E12            6000 EEK/crew
* Group E (excl. E12, E13)   4500 EEK/crew
* Class E13                            2000 EEK/crew
* Team entry fee                    2000 EEK

ROUTE
The total length of the route is 450 km, including the overall length of Special Stages of approximately 105km.

PRIZES
Best six (6) crews in overall classification and best three (3) crews in each class will be awarded with cups.
